X-posted to LJ. Someone asked me to describe how I drew noses, and like usual, I couldn't resist the opportunity to go on and on XD

I also did a follow-up with some step-by-step examples 'cos someone asked: here.

That's goodness. And, also, anything containing so many awesomely drawn noses must be good. I always say that nose is the most important part of the face. Love noses. Noses forever.

It's not how big your fwoosh is, it's how you use it.

I'm thinking inside the box again.

I never boil. I just simmer quietly.
this... is awesome <3 you made me laugh at the end XD noses... I've never liked drawing them, but that's probably because it's pretty hard to make them look good. I tend to give all my characters the same nose... the only variation they get is the style changes I go through as a whole :ohnoes: gah! another thing to practice! XD

Research has proven that reading comics is good for your health.
Thanks for this! I kinda suck at drawing noses, but I want to improve :)
Yes. This is brilliant. 8)

Don't put your faith in walls, because walls will crush you when they fall.

Excellent tutorial! Noses are usually thhardest part of the face to master (other than ears). :)
